By default, Flash Player's security setting blocks invoking/calling JavaScript from SWF (Flash Movie). Since FusionCharts for Flex uses JavaScript for cross-communication, we need to change certain settings in the Flash player's security settings. You can manipulate the settings from Adobe Flash Player Settings Manager in the Global Security Settings panel. It can be done in three simple steps:
Always allow
radio button on the top to allow security exceptions. This control is marked as "1" in the image.Edit Locations...
drop down box, select "Add location..." option to bring up a dialog box. The drop down box is marked as "2" in the image.Browse for folder...
and browse to the location of your Flex application for which you want to add the security exception.
Once done, select any other tab to save the settings, once and for all.
